At the beginning of November I spent a week on Hawai'i at the famous North Shore on the island of Oahu. Even though it was only the beginning of the so-called "Big Wave Season", it was a week of fantastic waves and a surf with an enormous noise level in a true paradise. Of course I had intended to have some fun with the camera. In addition to the typical waves shots of professional surfers, including local surfer and current World Champion of surfing John John Florence, I also wanted to experiment and take a photo of a surfer at night in the moons silhouette. Just have a look yourself what a paradise Hawai'i can be.
